Adminstrative Assistant Position

Administrative Assistant has the primary responsibility in assisting the Executive team in the performance of their duties and providing administrative support. Someone who is energetic, dedicated and hard working to join our team of professionals to assist our team by handling numerous administrative inquiries. Tasks will be primarily focused around ensuring smooth processing and successful resolution.

Description:

  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Greeting candidates upon arrival
  • Assisting with completion of application
  • Handle incoming calls
  • Ensuring that the office is kept neat and tidy
  • Inventory Control for clothing, paperwork & brochures
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Ordering Office Supplies
  • Maintaining correct versions marketing materials
  • Ensuring that you respond to all incoming emails

Qualifications:

  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
  • Proven experience as an Administrative assistant or Office admin assistant
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with all staff, customers and general public
  • Customer service is a must
  • A proven team player with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong understanding and commitment to the requirements of confidentiality
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • A positive, can-do attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writte
  • Proficiency in MS, Word, Excel, Internet, Email
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping multi-tasking a top priority
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A team player with a strong willingness to learn
  • A strong understanding of business
  • A customer service background is an asset
